Thanks in no small part to strong demand and a flood of cheap dollars, commodity prices have soared, and so too have the prices for metal storage. In fact, two-thirds of that storage capacity - like the capacity in New Orleans that houses 60% of zinc stockpiles - is owned by four banks: JP Morgan, Glencore, Goldman Sachs, and Trafigura.
